Hosted stay | Our post-Thanksgiving food coma view was a little different this year.

We spent the holiday weekend in Gulf Shores-Orange Beach for their annual Coastal Half Marathon and were totally spoiled by our stay at @perdidobeachresort.

On Thanksgiving, we enjoyed a huge buffet lunch, a warm(ish) ocean splash and jacuzzi swim, and sunset views from our 5th floor balcony.

We even had adjoining rooms so the kids had their own space—a treat for them but a LUXURY for us!

A lovely, rocky beach near Malibu 🌊 El Matador is one of the three “pocket beaches” that comprise Meyer Memorial State Beach.

The Internet loves to call this one “hidden” or a “best kept secret,” but my friend Amy has nicknamed this “Influencer Beach” because there are usually a lot of photos and outfit changes. 😆

So maybe it’s not much of a secret, but even on a visit when the parking lot is full, it’s still incredibly peaceful!

To note: the parking lot IS incredibly small, and they’ve disallowed street parking. Get there early; when we left about 2 hours before sunset, there was a 15+ car line waiting!
